The mat came in nicely packaged as expected, however there are some problems fresh out of the box. First off, it had a very strong, rubbery and kind of musty smell to it. It was pretty bad so I had to wash it in the bathtub with laundry detergent twice to make the odor go away. Before cleaning it, I also had some sort of coating rub off on my hand when sliding it across the mat so I feel like you essentially have to thoroughly clean it before being able to use it comfortably. My last, albeit small complaint is that the colors are somewhat pale compared to what I expected but I suppose that's mostly on me because the image shown above is pretty accurate to how it looks in reality. In terms of quality, there is nothing to complain about, the surface has a nice and smooth feel to it, the stitching around the edges is very good and the rubber base is also great, it doesn't slip at all.

Overall great product, slightly sullied by the out-of-the-box experience not being all that great.

Then there is the fact that I had to pay 19€ in shipping and then another 13€ in import taxes since I bought from germany. The store is obviously not to blame here and I won't knock them for it, of course. Still, if there are other people looking to buy from mainland EU, you should be aware that you can expect to pay almost twice the price of the actual product.

Ordered one day came the next day loved how well it was packaged and product looks amazing on my desk thank you ever so much
